Plaque Tablets
The plaque tablets help you to analyze your brushing habits and improve your dental hygiene. This is how you can use the plaque tablets. First, brush your teeth as you normally do or until satisfied. Next, chew a special plaque tablet. These can be found at any local pharmacy. This tablet will disclose the areas where the plaque still remains in your mouth. The plaque affected tooth would be highlighted by a different colour (most commonly used is blue) which will help you to understand the problem areas. The colour used is equal to edible grade and can be dissolved by just wiping with tongue. The highlighted area of the mouth indicates plaque accumulation and must be brushed again. If the plaque persists in an area even after repeated brushing, then it could be tartar build-up which has to be cleaned by professional dental cleansing. Watch this video to know more about the plaque tablets.
