Impregum Impression Material
(30057 Views)
Impregum™ is an impression material used in dentistry. Most imprint materials consist of silicon; Impregum™ is made of polyether. Contrary to most cast and mold materials that are moisture repelling, Impregum™ harmonizes well with moisture- you speak of hydrophilic characteristics. Thus it is an exact cast material – one of the most exact dental impression materials. With the help of Impregum, the dentist is able to obtain a very accurate negative copy of your teeth, an important prerequisite for your new denture. Watch this video to see how the dentist works with Impregum™ and the corresponding mixing machine known as Pentamix™.
