Wisdom tooth causing pain?

Hi
I have some bad pain in my cheekbone, behind my eye and it does feel like its coming from my top left tooth.
There are no cavities and the gum looks very healthy. I think it's my wisdom teeth coming through. Can anyone suggest what I should do?

I have a full X-ray which shows what looks like small wisdom teeth growing. I cannot see how to upload the picture though

When wisdom tooth comes through it causes some pain. You can eat or drink cold things to decrease the pain. And try to avoid eating or drinking hot things. This is a temporary pain and there is no need to worry about it.

It could be an upper wisdom tooth erupting, and it could be something else. How do you know you don't have any cavities? A dentist told you, or you just don't see any brown spots in your mouth?

Thanks Jolly Smith, I will take your advice. Dr Henry, I immediately went to a dentist when the pain begun, he poked and prodded and said there were no cavities. I posted on this forum because the dentist wasn't direct which left me apprehensive as to his diagnosis for the reason for pain. I am sure it's wisdom teeth. I will try and post my X-ray picture again

You can't do any thing. It will pain like this and after the wisdom teeth comes out the pain will stop automatically.
