For the past few days my gums have been swollen, bloody, and been hurting. I used peroxide and salt water to clean it and it still hurts. What can I do to make it stop?

A professional cleaning. You may have an serious gum condition called Trenchmouth.

Swollen and bleeding gums are signs of gum disease (gingivitis). It's best to have your gums checked by a dentist because according to a post I read on the This is Dentistry website, gum disease that goes untreated can lead to periodontitis - and even tooth loss.

Swollen gums are the results of bacteria in the mouth. You should consult with a professional dentist. Professional dentist can definitely give you suggestions for this problem.

The swelling and bleeding of your gums are the first signs of gingivitis, the "mildest" form of gum disease. According to a post on the This is Dentistry website that I read, it is very important to have your gums checked by a dentist to prevent the gum problem from worsening into periodontitis - which can cause tooth loss if not addressed early enough.

Using peroxide is not a good idea. Peroxide does not clean your teeth. Just stop using it and consult your dentist if pain persists.
