When should I get my teeth bleached?

Hi there!

I am having 4 new caps made on my upper teeth. The dentist said they will have the caps match the color of my natural teeth. I am planning to have my teeth bleached after they put the caps on. However, my friend said, I should go with the teeth bleaching first before getting the caps on because if I do this after, those new caps will not match the color of my teeth anymore. What do you guys think? Will it make a difference if I'll have my teeth bleached before or after I get the caps done? I do not know much about bleaching and I look forward for your opinions about this matter.

Many thanks!

Hi Jie!

I would whiten the teeth first then have the shade of the crown match your newly whitened teeth.
