hi mariann1
Wisdom teeth will develop a third molar teeth at each quadrant in our mouth, upper left, upper right ,lower left ,lower right .Wisdom teeth usually appear between the ages of 16 and 25.They are generally called wisdom teeth because they appear much later than the other teeth, at an age where people are presumably "wiser" than as a child, when the other teeth erupt

Wisdom teeth are the third & final set of molars that most people get in their late teens or early twenties. Not properly alignment of wisdom teeth can crowd or damage adjacent teeth, the jawbone, or nerves. I think the removal of wisdom teeth is easier in young people, when the teeth roots are not yet fully grew & the bone is less dense.

Well, I do agree with Jolly Smith and mail.browncharls. Wisdom teeth are the third and final set of molars that grew in late teens or early twenties. These teeth are considered to be valuable asset to the mouth when healthy and properly aligned but on misalignment, it required to be removed.
