What is accelerated invisalign treatment?

Hello! I am 20 and my upper teeth is not aligned properly. I don’t like wearing metal braces all day long. I have seen my cousin wearing it and was really fed up with it. She says that while chewing the food particles get stuck inside and sometimes the metal parts comes off. My friend suggested an accelerated invisalign treatment in Wilk & Wilk Orthodontics, Oakville. She says that we will have to wear a simple hand free mouthpiece for 20 minutes. Is it true? Has anyone done this treatment before?

Your friend is talking about Acceledent not Wilko. It works but how well is debatable. I've seen many Invisalign patients that cut their time in half. There is some research on it showing the effectiveness but not a lot.
