What can I do to keep my teeth from shifting?

Hello!

Two years ago, I have had two root canals done on my left and right upper molar. Two months ago, my right root canal has started to ache. It's on and off. The dentist did some X-rays and he said, both the teeth with the root canal are in a very bad condition and they cannot be saved anymore. He extracted them. I cannot afford a bridge or an implant for now and I am worried that my upper teeth will shift. What can I do to prevent this? I've heard the teeth tend to move quickly. Please advise. Thanks!

Hello gelay!

One option would be a placeholder, or a retainer. Both methods restrict the teeth from shifting.

You should find a dentist in your area; s/he will be able to clear you up on any specifics.

All the best!
