First of all, you don't have any business in braces unless you can keep your teeth very clean.

Whether or not braces are a good solution will depend on analysis of models of both arches, an x-ray of the side of your skull that has been traced and measured, and a panoramic or full mouth x-ray series. This kind of analysis is way beyond the scope of this forum.

Orthodontics should always be the first choice, as it does not entail any crowns or veneers that will have to be replaced during your lifetime.

There could be a several reasons for bleeding from teeth. It could be gingivitis or you may be brushing too hard and many more. I would suggest you to consult some dentist who will examine your teeth and tell you the exact cause behind your problem.
