Uncomfortable teeth veneers

User Level:
Patient

Dear Doctor,

I had 4 porcelain veneers installed on my 4 top front teeth about a month ago. I am having problems getting used to how they feel inside my mouth. They feel bulky and as if a huge thing is attached to the end of my teeth. My teeth look too big compared to my other teeth and they seem to be protruding. One of the veneers is slightly darker than the others. Can I have this replaced?

I feel some discomfort when I chew and I have sensitivity to hot, cold and sweet. Sometimes I also feel pain in my jaw around my gum line. I was so disappointed. It has started to affect my social skills and self confidence.

How long does it take before I get used to them? I really hope you can help me on what to do. Thanks a lot.
