Transparent teeth

Hi there!

I have had a habit of brushing my teeth very hard, making my gums bleed sometimes. Now, I noticed that the tip of my front teeth are becoming transparent. You can see right through them. This really worries me. I now use an electric toothbrush. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from getting worst? Thanks for any help.

Hello!

It's acid erosion. You get this from excessive use of acidic drinks like soda, fruit juices and the like. Avoid too much consumption of these and use a toothpaste that protects the surface of the enamel.

Hi Summerdentist!

Use a toothpaste that can strengthen the teeth. You may want to have veneers put on to make your teeth stronger.
