So problem is that it's sensitive. I'm worried I may have decay under the surface of the filling but after constant inspection, no surface portions of the tooth are even remotely stained. Even the still has its silver color.
He told me that cracks like that often cause pain because of acid leaking into it.
Anyways, it hurts on occasion, and yes specifically when I am drinking acidic beverages but also at other times during the day. It's not sensitive to heat or cold or pressure.
But I also smoke so that caused a slight recesion of me gum line so I think that might be the source of the problem but unlikely.
And I also have tmj, so that could also be the source of the problem (probably the reason it cracked in the first place).
I guess I'm just worried here because I hate tooth decay and I need some reassurance that it's not.
