Hello all,

I have cavity on the back of my front tooth. I will be able to see a dentist in about a month. How to prevent cavity from getting bigger until then?

Thanks in advance,
Brian

Hi BrianJow,

the best thing you can do in this situation is, in my opinion, to brush your teeth with a fluoride containing toothpaste as usual and after every meal (make sure the toothbrush is at least supersoft, if not ultrasoft, otherwise you can overbrush and get different kind of tooth problems:) ), remove pieces of food if they get stuck into the cavity, rinse mouthwash with fluoride and chew xylitol chewing gum.

All the best!
