Teeth getting thinner

User Level:
Patient

Dear Doctor,

For some reason, my teeth are thin and they are just eroding away. They are not rotting and they do not hurt or anything. They looked good from the front but at the back, nearly all teeth have faded away. The dentist said I have 9 teeth that need root canal and crown. I do not have medical insurance and I do not have money for them yet.

What should I do to keep them from getting thinner? I am very scared that my front teeth will just fall out anytime. The dentist said bulimics get teeth like this but I have never been bulimic. I would look forward for any suggestions or tips you can give me. Thank you so much!
