Teeth clicking

I only brush my teeth twice a day; in the morning and before going to bed. I do not use a mouthwash and I do not floss but I do brush my teeth thoroughly. Yesterday, I've been to the dentist to have my teeth thoroughly cleaned and examined. Aside from small cavities in my lower molars, everything is fine. This morning while I was drinking cold water, there was a soft clicking noise from my top front teeth. They also felt like they have some pressure on them. They are not loose, though. I was just wondering if anyone has had this happen. Is this normal after a dental cleaning?

Thank you!

Hi,

I too have experienced these clicks because my teeth shifted slightly. I would encourage you to talk to your dentist about it as soon as possible.

Do you have a bad bite? It sometimes causes trauma and inflammation to the supporting bone. The inflammation will make the tooth socket to expand very slightly causing the clicking sound.
