Strange white ring in mouth

Hi,

I have a white circle in my mouth on the left inner cheek just adjacent to my lower teeth. It is not painful, but I can feel the edge of it with my tongue.

I have uploaded a picture here: http://cl.ly/image/2x1T1A2k0115

Is this something I should be concerned about? I first noticed it a few days ago and it hasn't changed in any way.

Thank you.

There is a faint white line adjacent to where the teeth touch together, on both cheeks. I have never seen it look like a ring, however.

Best to have a dentist take a look at it, and if he thinks it is abnormal, have a biopsy.

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply. Does this look like something cynical to you, in your experience?

I went to see my General Practitioner today (I'm in the UK), and he said that he thinks it is just abrasion from my teeth as it is directly opposite them.

That gave me some reassurance, but now your reply has me worried again.

I'm male, 26 and a non-smoker.

Thanks you.

Don't get worried just get consulted with some general other dentist so that it will confirm you.

You no need to worry about that. Visit a professional dentist and seek his advice. On following that you can get good results.
