Still bleeding five days after extraction

User Level:

Hello!

Five days ago, all my four wisdom teeth were pulled. My teeth have stopped bleeding three days ago. However, today, I began to taste blood in my mouth. When I spit into the sink, there were small traces of blood. The socket on the upper left side is also hurting. Is this something I should be worried about? I’ve heard dry socket happens 2-3 days after extraction. So, am I already free of dry socket since it is already the fifth day since the extraction? I would be grateful for any input.
