Separating front teeth...

User Level:
Patient
Posted by: f99999  (7 years ago)
After many years of braces and retainers and a frenectomy, my front teeth still have separated. I've read something about bonding gaps between front teeth together, but my front teeth are pretty wide.

I have an invisalign tray that I can close the gap between my front teeth with in about an hour. Is there a way that something can be placed behind the front teeth and affixed while they're together that will prevent them from separating?

If so, what is this procedure called? Thanks for any help!

[if conditions are favourable then you can go for palatal permanent retainer....it can be placed behind your front teeth.....take advice from your orthodontist...
