Hi, I had two root canals done on front teeth 3 days ago. These are still sore. However the tooth between theese teeth had a deep filling done a few weeks ago. his tooth has started to be sensitive to touching other teeth and to flossing as well. he the day my endo did my rc's she checked this tooth for cold reaction and said it still had a living nerve. nerve, and suggested rct on the other two steeth. Could this be referred pain? Am i looking at another root canal.

These are difficult cases to diagnose. They need patience. The best thing, if you could hold off, would be to let the two root canal teeth on either side to settle down for 4 or 5 days. Then you could gain a more accurate opinion whether you need a root canal on the other teeth or not.

A tooth can hurt whose nerve is alive (as yours apparently is) but inflamed.
