Retainer incorrectly fitted

I got my braces removed a little under a month ago and my dentist still has yet to give me a retainer that fits. They have taken 5+ molds and made 3 bottom retainers for me (the clear plastic kind) Nond of them have been even remotely snug and I can easily kick them off with my tongue. My actual orthodontist doesn't check the molds she leaves everything up to the dental assistances and had them tell/text her about the fit. She has decided (without looking) my gums must be swollen and that I'm to wear a pair much larger than my teeth for the next month, which is when she will make a new mold. I'm concerned my teeth won't be helped by this and I find it difficult to wear as it falls out of my mouth sometimes. I guess my main question is what should I do?

Get a bonded canine-to-canine retainer instead of a clear plastic one. That is what most orthodontists use anyway. Teeth move FAST. You need a retainer NOW!

Oh! Once my braces fell down when I flossed after my lunch :D I soon fixed an appointment with my orthodontist at Oshawa and also as per his instruction, I came to know and try the “Invisalign invisible braces “ https://www.clearbrookdental.com/invisalign-braces-oshawa/ which gifted me with a great smile as I had before ^_^. In your case, getting the bracket replaced soon is important to be sure you do not get "off track" from your treatment schedule. Also please seek expert advice in replacing or repairing braces as I got from Clearbrook since all these add up in keeping up the correct treatment process. Hope this helps! All the best!

Being a dentist, I would suggest that you should return to your orthodontist and see if he can remove the offending plastic. This is not that uncommon and is fixable .Having braces again is an option, if you are happy with the current position of your teeth however, you could just opt to get a new retainer that fits where your teeth are now. Hope this will help you.
