Recurring Canker Sores

Hello everyone,

I've had recurring canker sores which have been bugging me for quite some time now. I've been getting about two or three every month which last for two weeks and they are very painful. Does anybody else experience sores like this frequently? What did you do to get rid of them? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Bubblegum,

You can try gargling your mouth with salt water. If this does not work, there are topical medications for canker sores which you can buy from the drug store.

Cleanliness is the key to get rid of canker sore. Keep your teeth, gum and your mouth clean to clear the canker sores up faster.

Hi bubblegum,

Stay away from acidic foods like lemons, juices, grapefruit and tomatoes. They can worsen canker sores.
