Hello, I have a bump in the roof of my mouth. It’s so hard and hurts when pressed on. It seems to come and go. Is this something to be worried about? I grind and clench my teeth at night. Could it have caused this? Please shed some light on me about this. I was really worried that this is something serious. Thank you in advance for any help you can extend me.

Well, this is something you'd have to visit a dentist/ oral pathologist and find out. Getting a tissue biopsy examined would be a good idea. In any case, I'm guessing this is something that is benign/non-cancerous and could be a mucocele (from salivary gland disturbances), fever blister/mouth sore, fibroma, myoepithelioma, etc. Hard palate sores can also be a side-effect of certain drugs too.
