Pus coming from a rotten tooth

User Level:
Posted by: technohub  (9 years ago)
I have had two rotten teeth for about two years now. I did not practice regular brushing, flossing and rinsing and I regret this now. They are not causing me any pain so far. My only problem is that, there is a little pus that comes out when I push my gum around one of these teeth. Is this a sign of infection? Would these teeth fall out eventually over time?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

It sounds like you have an abscessed tooth that is why there is a pus coming out from it. You might need a root canal and a crown. Go to your dentist as soon as possible.

A pus coming out of the gum indicates that the area is infected. It could either be gum-related or tooth-related problem. Go to your dentist, you probably need antibiotics. The pus should be drained and you'll need dental treatment such as a root canal or extraction.
