Pulling a tooth down

Hello,

I am currently on braces to pull my tooth down, which have not come in. However, for almost four months of having the braces on, the tooth is still partly emerged. I still have the gap that looks very horrible. What else should be done to help the tooth emerge completely? The braces don’t seem to help much. Any ideas would be highly appreciated.

I am confused. A bracket is attached to the partially submerged tooth or not? If not, it needs to be, and then your orthodontist can apply traction to the tooth.
