Proxy Brush

Hi!

I just got my braces on. I also started using a proxy brush and I am loving it. So far, I am doing a good job in keeping my teeth clean with braces. My friend said, I can now stop flossing since I am already using a proxy brush. Is this correct? I find flossing with braces difficult so I am really interested to know if proxy brush does really eliminate the need of regular dental floss.

Thanks in advance!

Dear Missphils,

Proxy brush should only be an addition to your regular teeth cleaning regimen. It is not recommended as a substitution for brushing and flossing.

Hello!

I am also using a proxy brush. I find it better than floss but I've heard you should not use it everyday.
