Protect from tooth loss/death even with persisten clenching?

How likely is it that someone who clenches and grinds hard during the night (not during the day), and has an acrylic night guard, would either lose their teeth or have a tooth die?

Not very likely. By the way, pulp death is not usually a result of grinding. The worst thing that usually happens is wearing through the acyclic splint and having to have it replaced often.

Thank you so much! Unfortunately I think that will be my main issue. Better than something worse, though.
