Possible wisdom tooth?

User Level:
Patient

Two days ago, the gums behind my upper right (my right) second molar started swelling and it still is now. It's not painful when I try to touch it with my tongue, but it gets in the way when I'm eating. My mom says it's just the wisdom tooth coming out. I wanted to confirm and looked through the internet, but the sites are saying that the swelling should be painful. Mine isn't. I'm just wondering if it would get painful. Right now, my neck, below the right lower jaw, is the one that's causing pain. So is this really a wisdom tooth problem or something else entirely?

I think it is a wisdom tooth. May be it is not growing properly. Go to your dentist and consult with him. Without seeing it cannot give your proper guidance.
