Porcelain veneers and teeth whitening

Dear everyone!

Two years ago, I got porcelain veneers. As time passed by, they have gone slightly off white. I also have yellow teeth that need whitening. I wonder if I can whiten my teeth without ruining my veneers. Can I also have the discolored veneers whitened? Help please!

Thank you!

The color of the porcelain veneers is permanent. They may get stained from the foods and drinks you take. Ask the dentist if he can clean them up. As for the underlying tooth, yes, it can be whitened.

Good day!

The color of the porcelain veneer is permanent. It cannot be whitened. You can whiten your teeth but make sure to match them with the shade of your veneers.
