I wore braces four years ago. The result was great; my teeth were perfectly aligned. The gave me plastic retainer on top and permanent wire retainer at the bottom. Two years later, I stopped wearing my top retainer and then I lost it. After several months, I noticed a gap that formed between my two upper front teeth. Since I was overseas at that time, I went to a new orthodontist. He made a plastic retainer with a wire on it and attached two hooks, which would pull the two front teeth together. This resulted to one of my front teeth going upwards. I reported this to the orthodontist. He said I would have to wear again.
Is there no other remedy for this besides braces? One of the two front teeth needs to be brought down because the other one is now shorter than the other. Please help. I was so tired of braces. Thanks in advance for your time.
