My crown cracked when I happened to bite on something hard. The metal is exposed now. Should I get it repaired or is it okay to leave it like that? Thank you in advance for any help you could provide.

This is a cosmetic problem only, unless it allows food to be trapped between adjacent teeth and the crown. You can have it smoothed off for the time being. Fixing it for good will require a new crown. Consider a gold crown next time if it is a lower molar, or an upper second molar.
