Loose tooth

My second premolar tooth in the bottom left side of my mouth is loose. I don’t know what causes it. I just noticed it today. I had my dental check up five months ago and the dentist said everything was fine. She did not mention about gum problems. I have heard that this usually causes the teeth to become loose. Should I go to the dentist? Or wait for the tooth to become stable again?

This is very strange. Permanent teeth do not just suddenly become loose. A small percentage of the population is missing one or more lower premolar teeth, and the baby teeth continue to function for a while before coming loose. Could this be the problem you have?

Yes, it's still a baby tooth, which I still have at the age of 20. Is implant possible to replace it once it falls out? I grind my teeth at night. Would that be a problem with the implant? I was given a night guard.

Yep, the implant is the perfect solution we usually use. Under no circumstances have the teeth on either side ground down to fabricate a bridge.
