Hi everyone,

Three weeks ago, I had my two front teeth extracted due to gum problems and had an immediate dentures fitted in. They fit fine at the time. Now that my swollen gums were healed, they are already very loose, they fall when I eat. What will I do? Do I need new dentures, or do I have to wait for a few days more? Please, somebody help me!

Thanks a lot.

Hello Marco,

Ask your dentist for an adhesive cream you can use. If this does not work, your dentures might need some adjustment.

Dear marco!

In most cases all you need to do is adjust the lining of your dental prosthesis. Watch the corresponding video clip “Lining of Dental Prostheses” and then visit your dentist to have it corrected.

All the best!

Thank you for the information. They seem to be going closer to the bottom of my nose and it hurts. I'll book an appointment now.
