Hello!

Last night, I bleached my teeth with the teeth bleaching solution I got from my dentist. I left the trays in my mouth for one hour. When I removed them, I noticed that my upper lip had swelled a bit. After a few hours the swelling became bigger. It is now 5 times the normal size. I already took antihistamines and applied ice pack, but still no progress. What can I do? It looks horrible. Thanks in advance.

It could be an allergic reaction to the teeth bleaching product that you have used. Consult your physician if the swelling is prolonged and accompanied by itching or a rash.

Hello!

Avoid touching or biting it, it will become worse. You can rub ice on your lips to get the swelling go down but do not do it too much. Keep your lips clean and cool. If it does not get any better in a few days, contact your doctor.
