Hello everyone!

I have read some articles about dental crowns that contain lead. I have had crown for three months now and after reading these articles I started to become bothered. Is there a way to check if mine has lead? Please let me know if anyone has any information on this. Thank you very much.

Your dentist should have an idea of what type of metal alloy was used in your crown.

Nope, no way to check the metal content of a crown once in the mouth. American labs NEVER use lead in alloy mixes. In third world labs (and sometimes in China_, dentists often don't know what the heck is in the alloys their labs use.

A crown is a one of type dental restoration which completely caps or encircles a tooth .Crowns can be made out of porcelain, metal or a combination of both. Metals include gold alloy, other alloys or a base-metal alloy.
