Hello. Can anyone tell me more about laser dentistry? Is this a less painful way of getting dental work done? I am a big chicken about going to the dentist and I am hoping something like this would ease my fears.

Hello!

There is no evidence based study that clearly supports the usage of lasers in dentistry.

For certain surgical procedures using a laser has its benefits, for example when dealing with haemostasis (staunching the blood flow).

Hi there,

My dentist said there are many procedures that cannot be done with a laser, it's not the total answer and it is costly.
