Last month, I had an intermittent pain and sensitivity on my upper first premolar. The dentist performed a root canal on this tooth. Three weeks after the procedure, the gum above the canal treated tooth became sore and tender. The dentist said, I developed an infection and he prescribed antibiotics. I already finished the course of antibiotics but my gum is still a little bit swollen and there is still a minor pain and sensitivity on the tooth. Should I be concerned?
Thanks in advance for any information or advice!
