implants/anurism

A curious title? I was set to get implants when I found I have a brain anurism and will have at least 1 brain scan or MRI per year. My dentist said it would not be possible w/implants due to the metal I guess. Is this true? I wear an upper denture w/no problems but a lower may cause problems since I never could wear a partial. Any suggestions?

Titanium is not a magnetic metal, and I think MRIs would still be possible. You cannot have magnetic attachments to the implants, however. Best to confirm this with an x-ray tech.
