Immediate implant – pulsating feeling

User Level:

On September 14th, I had a tooth with a cyst (5mm) extracted, and received an immediate implant at the extraction site that same day. I have absolutely no pain, and I only notice something when I press on the cheek. However, during strenuous physical activity, I get a pulsating feeling at the implant site (usually in the late afternoon or in the evening). Is this normal (healing) or should I assume that another infection has developed or is in the process of developing?

Thank you very much for your answer and best regards to the entire team.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a current X-ray. However, last Monday I went to have the stitches removed and the doctor said that everything looks good. In two or three weeks, an impression will be taken in order to prepare temporary dentures. For how long is it possible to feel this kind of wound? Is it possible to estimate this? Thank you very much for your efforts!
