I had a tooth pulled last week that was infected. I have been on antibiotic and doing everything the dentist told me. I have no clue if this is healing properly or if there is something wrong.

Looks pretty normal to me. Dry sockets hurt like the dickens, so unless you are having extreme pain, it is probably healing normally.

If you can, have a socket preservation bone graft done as quickly as possible so you have plenty of bone for an implant.

Thank you so much. I have an appointment Monday and will ask them to do it then.
Which is a better way to go an implant or a bridge?

If you are going for a bridge, you need to sacrifice adjacent healthy teeth. But with the implant you can save adjacent teeth.

I would never have virgin or nearly virgin teeth cut down for a bridge. The failure rate for bridges is quite high. Plus so many times bridged teeth require root canals after they are cut down for bridges

Thank you both so much for replying! I defiantly feel that an implant is the way to go. I do not like the idea at all of my other teeth having to be ruined just for this one issue.
