How to fix the gap in my teeth?

Hi Doc!

I had braces when I was a kid but it did not fix the gap in my two front teeth. It is a big gap so I think adding a tooth to fill in the gap won't work. Do I need to wear braces again or is there any other option for me to fix this? Please advice me and thank you very much in advance.

Dear showsmile!

Getting braces would be an option, another would be dental veneers.

The best option depends on the specifics; if you have a correct bite alignment and the gap can be well concealed using veneers, then that would be the ideal solution.

Best would be to talk to your dentist about all the possibilities.

All the best!

Thank you.:-) I do really believe I have to wear braces again but I strongly hope that my dentist has other easier and cheaper possibilities for me.
