How do I know if I have a dry socket or not?

I just had a tooth extracted on monday and its now thursday and i still have a little bit of pain but not much could that mean i have a dry socket?

Dry socket is excruciating, you would know it if you had it. Sounds like you are healing normally, Took me about a week to ten days to have no pain and a few more weeks for the hole to heal up completely.
