Help! My daughter is teething and she's in pain.

My five month old daughter has started teething. Her two upper front teeth are starting to come through and she's really in pain. Last night her nose was running and she was crying a lot. Dummies/pacifiers do not calm her. Does anyone know of some home remedies we can do for teething babies? We want to avoid giving her paracetamol based drugs unless absolutely necessary. Any suggestions would help! Thanks:-)

Hi dude!

Try giving her frozen waffles. They work well for teething babies. Frozen teething rings are good, too. I agree with you on the medication as the last resort.

Hi Daddy!

Wet a wash cloth, put it in the freezer and when it is already cold enough, let her gnaw at it. Anything hard and cold will help her with the pain.
