I've experienced a swelling on my hard palate, since a few days. Precisely, the swelling is near the upper 1st canine. I'm feeling an increasing discomfort and getting restless. What could this be?

May this cause due to the teeth issue. Lots of cause can create this types of problems. You can use a boil water with added salt to wash your mouth after general temperature. If this not give the result then you should go for a checkup.

Dear Happycures !

It's possible that the problem is with canine, maybe it inflamed and it needs a rootcanal. Maybe you ate some too warm foods and that caused the swelling. My advice is to get into contact with your dentist as soon as it possible.

If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to send a message!

There is a cyst call a lateral palatal cyst that is not associated with tooth problems, but it is rare. Get an x-ray of the area and it will probably lead you to an undiagnosed tooth problem.

This may be due to poor gums on the teeth, rinse your mouth and check with hot water and salt, if it doesn’t stops then consult dentist to know correct solution.
