Good day Doctor!

I had a tooth extraction about a week ago. My gums around the area where the tooth was pulled out are
still very swollen until today, but I can no longer feel any pain. I am already finished with the antibiotic. Do I still need more? Could this be an infection? Please help me.

Thank you.

Good day to you digdeep!

It could be an infection, or just the side effects of a traumatic extraction.

Don’t break your head about it any further, ideally just find a dentist and get the problem solved!

Hello Digdeep,

I had the same thing. I just waited for the swelling to subside. It's just a sore for a little while. If you are uncomfortable with it, I recommend talking to your doctor about it.
