I had a large cavity in my back molar. Over time, a part of this tooth was broken off. I went to the dentist five days ago to have it looked at. He cleaned the tooth, removed all the decay out and filled it. Now, I notice a gap between my molar and my gum. It seems the tooth is not sealed under and close to the gum. There is a slight in the gum on the outside. Is this normal or is it a sign of a badly done filling? Please advise.
Thank you in advance!
