Filing down big front teeth

Hello!

My two front teeth are longer and bigger compared to the rest of my teeth. I am scheduled to get braces soon. I am wondering if I can have these teeth filed down before I get braces on. I want to
make them shorter and not so big.

Has anyone had anything similar done? Thanks!

Filing a tooth down will reduce the amount of enamel of your tooth. It can lead to sensitivity. You can try veneers. Have a chat with your dentist for other options.

Hello!

If you file your teeth, you will remove much enamel which can lead to intense pain and the teeth will be prone to decay.
