Failed implant

User Level:
Patient

It’s been year when I had an implant done on my tooth. The general dentist who did it had the extraction and implant at the same visit. Everything was fine. Apparently, my front gum, which is covering the implant does not grow anymore and the hole under that does not close to heal. The implant wasn’t successful. Now the implant needs to be taken out, otherwise it will adversely affect my gum and cause worse problems with my other teeth. This will cost me much money again, so I’m planning to have a general dentist who did the implant procedure give back what I have paid him. What steps could I do to protect myself and be able to make a refund?
