Discomfort after dental cleaning

Good day!

It's been three years since I had a dental cleaning. I just had it yesterday and now my mouth is sore. My teeth are sensitive especially on the tooth which has a filling and a crown. This tooth has this annoying pressure feeling. Is this normal after cleaning? The gums aren't bleeding. Please share your experiences.

Many thanks!

Good day Mards!

It could be sore for up to a week or two. Take painkiller to help with the inflammation. Swish with warm salt water. You will be fine soon.:-)

Hello!

Discomfort after a deep cleaning is normal. The sensitivity can last for a day or two. If your symptoms show a little or no improvement after a week, contact your dentist.
