Discolored chipped tooth

Hello,

I chipped one of my front teeth from a minor accident I recently had. I had no pain in the tooth for the past few days, only a pain in my mouth from the accident impact. Now, the tooth has become painful. I also noticed a change in its color, as if there’s a blood inside it. What will the dentist do to save my tooth? I don’t want to lose it. Thank you!

Have a root canal done. Then bleach can be put INSIDE the tooth, and the color will change back to an extent. It may even return to the color you had before the accident.
