I´ve been doing some research about dental treatments in Costa Rica and read about Dentavac. Saw some comments here but are a little old and seemed to be a little biased (the moderator was an American dentist). Anyone have any reference or comment about them?

Thanks

How do you expect to get an UNBIASED opinion on the subject?

The only thing you need to ask yourself is how any post-op problems are going to be taken care of once you are home. I guarantee you no dentist takes care of another dentist's post-op problems for free. Paying someone to take care of post-op problems, denture adjustments, etc. frequently negates any savings in going to a foreign dentist. And many times, patients have to pay guys like me to do the whole thing over. I have dealt with this in two implant cases.

You might luck out and not have any post-op problems. But then again, you might not. It is a crap shoot. Are you a gambler?

In the end, you will make up your own mind. Some people are never skeptical about any advertising and regard it as infallible truth. Good luck!

Yeah I know the pros and cons, my question was looking for opinions of people who already had that experience with them.
The prices seem to be very very good compare to those in America and there´s also the option to travel around Costa Rica, a country that I love to visit, so seems like a good deal.
Is it anyone with experience?

I have been to DentaVac four times, gotten two implants and a root canal, and have been completely happy with the quality of their work. One implant is on a front incisor, and is still going strong some five years later. Staff is professional and courteous, and the work is wildly inexpensive compared to American dentists. Very happy with my decision to come here!

DentaVac is a godsend! They offer a complete list of dental services at extremely affordable prices compared to anything in the USA. The offices are spotless and safe. Everyone speaks English so it was easy to converse with them. They are a very professional, on time, caring dental office. This was my second trip to complete implant procedures that I started in August. Staying up the street at Out of Bounds hotel it was an easy 1 block walk to the office. My appointment was on time and my work was done by as many as 6 specialists and hygienists. As procedures were being done, everything was being checked continually. The time frames they gave were accurate. The work was efficient and although it did take some time, I am very pleased with the work and can't remember having such beautiful teeth. The people that work there go out of their way to be helpful. They still provide airport transportation if you inquire. I have never had any complications with DentaVac. My neighbors have also used them for implants and no problems. The dentist calls you personally for a follow up, etc. HIGHLY recommednd.
